Down But Not Out

It's been 3 years, 7 months, 21 days, 21 hours, and about 15 minutes when I started doing a blog as a serious personal hobby, which about a year later developed in a money making hobby (albeit being very little amount of money).

Ever since last September, I have re-started college and it may come as a bit of a surprise given that I hate being in college when I started my blog; this re-entry into college was a bigger personal development for me as it was firstly a different college, I met people who gave me support and gave me confidence into blogging even more, and I actually enjoyed the education I received this time around.

I'm almost at the end of my second year, however; I am in the process of starting another 2½ years of education which will hopefully give me a degree in Business and because of the scale of work that has to be done in order to achieve this, including working full time on night shifts; the time I have is very limited.

I'm currently on holiday right now writing this, if I was back at home; I would either be at college, at work, sleeping, or all three. I've also been thinking of doing other blogs about finance and even had ideas for a business spinning in my head, I've been through many girlfriends in this time ranging in time from 10 days to 11 months, the amount of times I've been working nights after a full day at college is considerable so that's left me to feel down sometimes. Ever since I started this blog, I've been to the Canary Islands and India; they didn't much in terms of blogging material as I'm what you'd call a home blogger, I blog about the matters away from all of the drama and I know this is inconvenient as I demotivates me but it also puts off the content for all of you out there, especially if there's a longer and longer break between posts.

It's been a good long time since I made any posts on a regular basis so deciding to do this now rather than later seems appropriate.

Which is why given all of these considerations, I will be taking a long hiatus (or a break if you don't have much time), to focus on my studies and my employment whilst this blog is having a rest; I want to make it perfectly clear that this blog won't be going, this is solely a break and I am coming back here (unless I'm dead). If you subscribe to the Sandboarding Nation's Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram feeds, you might even get a sneak peek on any information as to when I come back; I'd also post it on here if you sometime find this blog in the future, this also means halted progress on the book too.

The latest I'm definitely coming back here would be in the next 4 years, hopefully less. I want to take this brief opportunity to thank everyone for their support and recognition of my efforts to this blog since I started in 2014, I can say with confidence that my skills on writing have improved during this time; I may not have changed the world but I definitely have made it a slight more interesting, I've even lost count of how many times I personally have explained to people what Sandboarding is and because of that and people's perception of me to become an expert on the subject as it were; I think this 3 year experiment has been a success.

I will still make my Top 10 list of Sandboarding Nation's for this blog every November, nothing else.

I'm going for now but everything is staying as it is, I could not have done this without you all. Thank you.
